Need a way add old "exs" software instruments back into GarageBand 10 (from the older 6.0.5)?

Recently I updated GarageBand to 10 from 6.0.5. My update resulted in a lack of over 30 "exs" software instruments used by fellow musicians. (I work with several musicians who have done the same with no missing problems). Is there a way of finding the missing software instruments and loading them into GB 10 so I can be compatible with the others? The missing .exs files include "Grand Piano Punchy", all "Drum Kits" and numerous others from GB dating back to 2012 and/or earlier. They are all in my 6.0.5, but I can not simply do a search on "EXS24" (file type info appearing when I try to load them in GB 10). I've tried to trash the original GB 10 download and find that it simply repeats the resulting missing parts. I've also followed the Sound Library re-installing process and the full reload and they're still not showing up. Any ideas would be appreciated.
